How companies can adapt to the new reality

Reinvention, as a consequence of the prevention measures people and companies have had to adapt to, is a constant duty. The changes we are experiencing at work have lost their temporary character, that is why this time is spoken of as a period of transition. In the workplace, trends are being set and defined by companies that have integrated the momentary changes and made them permanent, which in turn has been deemed as new business models because they are innovative, represent resource-savings, and benefit the worker. If companies want to stay current and competitive in the market, it is recommended that they modify the customs that tend to disappear.

We have always heard about innovation in the corporate world; we already know that it is a cliché, and we also know that it is paradoxical to make the clarification. But, in the circumstances in which we live in due to the pandemic, innovating is an obligation, such as the health safety measures we must adapt to. In fact, we dare to think that this has always been the case, but due to convention, or perhaps out of fear, companies did not grant these types of freedoms so openly. Today we see that the new practices have benefited businesses in terms of savings in the use of space, time and costs.

It seems that the contingency has led companies to care more about the user; we are not only talking about customers and allies, but also about workers. In this new era the main concern is health. Likewise, individuals are inclined to put their health above material interests. Today, having good health is equal to a good quality of life. This interest in the well-being of individuals improves the quality of life of the community; which can be reflected in an efficiency increase of workers. In addition, this sense of sensitivity and fundamental values ​​make companies that adopt these practices more attractive for the recruitment of new talent. We cannot lose sight of the fact that the new generations are aware of the sensitive issues that are trending, and companies cannot be oblivious to them. It is advisable to promote care, explore and learn from all the possibilities and means offered to us today in order to get tasks done.
